About us

Airspace Aerial Media was started in July 2018 at the St. Louis Downtown airport and is owned and operated by Nate Sorenson. A pilot since 1996, Nate first started towing banners in 1999 over the beaches of Ocean City, Maryland. For many years he worked as a pilot and mechanic around the country with some of the best and most successful in the aerial advertising business. This experience taught him the skills and techniques necessary to provide a quality service with a dedication to safety and results. Never settling for the status quo, Nate is always thinking of new innovations to better aerial advertising for the customer and operator.

Airspace Aerial Media operates a 1946 Piper J3 Cub and a 1941 Piper J5 both highly modified specifically for Banner towing. With these aircraft, Airspace Aerial Media is capable of towing even larger displays with a bigger margin of safety.

Airspace Aerial Media also produces all flying billboards in house to ensure higher quality control with more cost savings for the costumer. We use proprietary devices on our billboards and banners that give better visual display to the viewing audience.

Banner towing is not just something we do, it is a passion and every job is an opportunity for us to show off how well aerial advertising really gets results. Airspace is one of few operators in the Midwest but is the only one capable of producing and flying large billboards. St. Louis is home but we can travel to most destinations throughout the Midwest. Give us a call or send an email today, we look forward to getting started on your banner!
